Khirbet ‘Ein Ar-Rashash is one of ten communities threatened of displacement and demolition on the pretext of building without a license , in 2018 the commu8nity was notified of forced displacement. Noting that the community is inhabited by 13 families (90 people) , The notices were preceded by a demolition operation in September 2015 . A human right operation objected on the decision related to demolition and eviction through a legal aid organization in the Israeli Supreme court , but in 2016 the Israeli supreme court had refused the petition.

In reality, it is not about licensing than it is about the Occupation’s intention to keep the Khirbet a reserve for future colonial expansionist projects.
