“Price tag” gangsters sabotage Palestinian properties in Qira village/ Salfit governorate

Description:
In the early morning hours of Sunday , October 6, 2019 , a group of settlers who call themselves the price tag group sneaked into the western neighborhood of Qira village, and started sabotaging properties and writing hatred inciting slogans that call for killing Arabs.

Ameer Tlaib told LRC reporter:
“The village is surrounded by Palestinian villages from all sides , but settlers gangs were able to enter the village and cause chaos, before they withdrew at 3:00 am as it is shown in security cameras”.
During the recent months LRC documented tens of attacks carried out by the Price tag gang in the Palestinian suburbs especially in Nablus, Ramallah , Salfit and Qalqilya suburbs , such attacks occur in the eyesight of the occupation forces who do nothing to stop them.
The price tag gang is a terrorist group related to the Zionist right wing parties that carry out organized attacks in west bank , Jerusalem and the occupied territories of 1948 under the protection of the occupation army , their attacks are mostly slashing car tires, throwing stones and writing hatred inciting slogans. Such attacks are motivated by a racist terrorist mentality . Their most popular slogan is “A good Arab is a Dead Arab” , which reflects their radical mentalities, the price tag group is formed of students of seminaries aged between 18-23 . The price tag gang appeared in 2008 and immerged from Kach movement.

7 km north Salfit, Qira is surrounded by Zita and Jama’en (north) , Kafl Haris (west) , Jama’en and Marda (east), also Kafil Haris (south), and “Ariel “ settlement on confiscated lands south.
Qira has a population of (1278) people according to 2017 census , and a total area of 2,450 dunums of which 205 dunums are a built up area.
Oslo accords divided the town’s land as the following:
- B area : 2,435 dunums.
- C area : 15 dunums.
