Description:
The Israeli occupation forces accompanied by a vehicle related to the Israeli occupation civil administration raided Khirbet Einun east Tubas and served a notice to an under construction house, the targeted structure is a two floors house with an area of 255 m2.
Reportedly, the targeted house is locates on the borders of Al-Qaoun valley , in an area the occupation claims is an archeological area , the military order number (000211) set 41 days to evict the area and return it to its previous status.
The targeted house belongs to Menwar Daraghmeh (50 years) who told LRC reporter:
“In 2019 , I started building a house for my family of 7 members , 2 of them are children. The purpose of the house was to provide a home for my family which is a basic human need , the estimated cost for the construction reached about 160,000 NIS, but I was shocked with a military order on the house claiming that I am assaulting an archeological site.”

In the same context, the Israeli occupation authorities through the so called Building and organization department notified a water reservoir 500 m3 of stop work , according to the military order (267067) the occupation set 5th of August as the subcommittee session in Beit El court to decide the fate of the structure.

Mu’taz Bsharat, the responsible on Colonization file told LRC reporter:
“The water reservoir was funded by the EU , with the supervision of West Bank and Tubas governorate Water reservoir , in order to provide water for 34 Palestinian families live in Khirbet Einun.”
Noteworthy, Khirbet Einun is located 4 km east Tubas and it is considered a part of it, The Khirbet is inhabited by several Bedouin families , and live a basic live depending on cattle breeding and agriculture as a main source of income, most of agricultural lands in Khirbet Einun are considered closed military zones by the occupation.
