Mutaz Tawafsha head of Sinjil municipality told LRC reporter:
“Such assaults repeatedly occur in Sinjil, as there is nothing to stop settlers from attacking and harassing Palestinians even in their own homes. After the recent attack, we called the Liaison office in order to file complain to the Israeli police, the later showed up and documented the assaults, but as usually no measurement will be taken to stop such assaults from occurring.
In fact, this attack is the second of its type during this year, in 27 August, Price tag gangsters slashed the tires of 33 cars in addition to writing hatred inciting slogans on several spots, and the Israeli police and government did not do anything to stop such attacks from occurring.”
