Description:

At the time the whole world is celebrating the rise of a new year, the Palestinian people are suffering from the Israeli occupation violations against their basic rights.

In Tuesday, The occupation’s authorities ravaged Palestinians’ lands in Jabal As-Suroj South Hebron , uprooted trees and destroyed retaining walls surrounding the lands, as affected citizen Hassan Abu- Ajameieh told LRC reporter.

1-The occupation troops ravaged a (1226 m2) land belong to farmer Hassan Abu Ajamiyeh, Hassan rehabilitated and cultivated his plot and surrounded it with a retaining wall in 2010, the occupation’s troops uprooted and looted 30 saplings during the process ,as the following table shows:

2- The Israeli occupation troops ravaged a (1223 m2) land belongs to farmers Imran and Zakariya Abu Ajamiyeh, destroyed a 95 m retaining wall surrounding it and uprooted 15 olive saplings aging 6 years old.

3- The Occupation’s troops also completely ravaged a 1 dunums land belong to Ar-Rafaeyeh family, and destroyed the retaining wall that surrounds it.

4- The occupation’s troops also destroyed barbed wires surrounding a 1.5 dunums land belongs to Al-Bayed family.

5- Same group of troops ravaged a 1 dunums land belong to a family in Hebron.

It is noteworthy; The targeted lands are close to the Israeli coordination office and bypass 60.

 The Israeli occupation authorities confiscated the targeted land in reference to laws go back to the Ottoman era and the British mandate, these laws gives the state the power to take over lands unused in agriculture for a while and under these allegations the Israeli occupation grabbed 1 million dunums of lands in West bank belongs to Palestinian farmers.
