Desecration of Al-Aqsa mosque

Desecration of Al-Aqsa mosque

September 9 of every year Marks the Rosh Hashanah literally meaning the “head [of] the year” in the Jewish New Year. In this day of every year settlers and occupation troops desecrate Muslim and Christian sacred places.

This Year an Israeli officer entered and roamed Al- Aqsa mosque holding an Alcoholic drink in an attempt to provoke Muslim worshippers in the mosque. It is Noteworthy, Alcoholic drinks are forbidden in Islamic religion, and it is considered a great assault to enter them into a mosque or a sacred Islamic place.

Israeli assaults against non-Jewish sacred places are not new in the Israeli state; during this year Israeli settlers set a mosque a blaze, and wrote racist slogans on a church’s wall in addition to destroying graves and writing offensive writings about prophets. These are only examples of Israeli settlers’ disrespectful attitudes towards other religions and cultures.
