Israeli Occupation Forces demolished on January 24, 2018 a house in Al-Jiftlik village on the claim of "unlicensed construction". The structure is owned by citizen Ehab Barakat (43); a head of seven member family including five children.

The structure is a 62m2 house that is still under construction.. It was leveled via military dozers, which accompanied the attacking force.

The affected citizen told Land Research Center that he recived a "final demolition order" on his structure on December 15, 2017. The occupation claimed serving previous stop-work orders to the affected citizen, who refuted that.

Noteworthy, Al-Jiftlik village witnesses constant Israeli attacks and violations of the right to proper housing.  The occupation keeps on issuing stop-work and demolition orders on the residences of the area in attempt to evacuate it from indigenous people.
