Details:

Israeli Occupation Forces served on February 08, 2016 stop-work and demolition orders on residential and agricultural structures in the Yatta hamlet of Al-Majaz, south Hebron city.

The so-called Israel Civil Administration and an army patrol raided Al-Majaz hamlet and started issuing and hanging orders on the targeted structures. Before the force had left, photos of targeted structures were taken as a documentation procedure.

It should be marked that Israeli Occupation Forces served stop-work orders on 26 residential and agricultural structures in addition to solar panels and electricity generator. Not only, 6 other demolition orders targeted residential and agricultural structures.

First : the stop-work order:

It should be marked that the orders mentioned that the structures were "unlicensed" and ordered halt on construction works. March 02, 2016 was assigned as the hearing session for the Inspection Sub-Committee in the Israeli court of Beit El colony to consider whether to demolish the structures or restore their previous status. The following table shows information about affected people due to the stop-work orders:

Second: the demolition orders:

Israeli Occupation Forces served final demolition orders on six structures. The occupation claimed the serving of stop-work orders on the recently targeted structures on November 04 ,2015. It also claimed giving the affected the opportunity to object the old orders. Thus, the final demolition order was issued with a seven day deadline as a result. The following table shows information about the affected people and properties:

It should be marked that this incident came after a short period of time from demolishing twenty residences funded by the EU in addition to confiscating solar panels gifted from Applied Research Institute in Jerusalem ARIJ. For more information, read the following report (Link)

About Al-Majaz hamlet:

It is one of the residential communities relative for Masafer Yatta area. The  hamlet populates 250 people, who depend on livestock and agriculture as source of income and livelihood.

Most of the hamlet's structures are simple in construction and nature; tents, barracks and small rooms with metal slaps roofs are common  structures there.
