Details:
The Israeli occupation authorities on February 02, 2015 ravaged some lands planted with winter crops belonging to residents of Massafer Yatta area. As a result, the crops and plants died.
Residents of the area asserted that 7 tractors accompanied by a patrol from Israel Nature Protection Authority entered the planted lands and plowed it (aiming at damaging the crop). Noteworthy, the lands are located east of the following residential communities ( Jinbah, al-Fakhit, al-Markaz, al-Halawa).
Tractors sabotaged around 500 dunums of planted lands, the harvest of which was to serve many families.
The Israeli occupation justified carrying out such attack by claiming the lands located within borders of 1948" the armistice line of 1949" . residents of the area deny such claim for they still have documents assuring their ownership of the lands.
The damaged lands belong to the following families from the area ( Jabarin, Mohammad, Hausheiyeh, Abu I'ram).
