The Israeli occupation authorities on January 18, 2015 served as stop-work and construction order on a recreational park for kids, which is located within the natural reserve of al-Hathalin, east Yatta town; the order came under the pretext of unlicensed construction.

The chairman of Hathalin village council Ibrahim Hathalin asserted that a staff from the Civil Administration came to the place and handed the project's  responsible engineer out the military order.

The order compelled a halt on construction and set up February 12, 215 as the hearing session for the Planning and Construction Committee in the court of Beit El to consider the status of the notified structure.

Citizen Hathalin pointed out that some members of the same family in 2008 established a natural reserve in cooperation with Union of Agricultural Work Committees UAWC through fencing 750 dunums of land and planting it with pastoral trees. Lately, citizens opened a recreational park for kids on a  dunum plot inside of the reserve through installing some swings , games for kids, and  300m2 shading place.

It should be marked that UAWC was informed about the order as per being the  reserve supervisor. Noteworthy, UAWC is preparing the legal file regarding the case to object the order in Israeli courts.
