Details:

The authorities of the occupation served, on October 1st , a final demolition order on a residence owned by citizen Ismael Awwad in Khirbet Asafi, which is located in Yatta town, south of Hebron governorate. The chairman of Masafir Yatta society  Othmaan Jabarin asserted that the Civil Administration accompanied by a patrol of the occupation raided Khirbet Asafi and delivered a demolition order to citizen Awwad.

The military order mentioned that the residence was "unlicensed construction" and that the authorities of the occupation served, on July 20th 2014, a stop work order on the  same structure. The order also mentioned that  Awwad was given a chance to object against the Inspection Sub-Committee in the court of Beit El.

The order said that: " the Committee was convinced that the construction was completed without obtaining any legal permit therefore the authorities of the occupation compelled the owner  to immediately stop work on the structure and  to demolish what has been annexed to it in a period of 7 day. Awwad was threatened  to carry the demolition expense in case he doesn’t carry out the demolition before the occupation does.

Jabarin pointed out that the threatened residence is a 50m2 barrack( made of metal slabs), which was gifted to the citizen by JVC organization to shelter his 14 member family.
