The occupation forces a closure on an agricultural road in Idna town

Details:

On Thursday of 04/09/2014, the troops of the Israeli occupation shut down an agricultural road in Idna/ Hebron governorate. The troops raided the western part of Idna town, ravaged the soil and closed the road which links farmers with their lands without any previous notification andor orders. The bulldozers of the occupation closed roads in the following places: 

  1. The area of Aouyun al-Bos – Wadi al-Naqi: bulldozers shut down the town’s path oad by a dirt wall 200 m to the east of the separation and segregation wall.
  2. The area of Khirbet er-Ras: the bulldozers closed the agricultural road that leads to the area by dirt and rock walls 150m to the east of the separation and segregation wall.
  3. The area of Khirbet al-Beida- Abu Musmar: the bulldozers closed the agricultural road that leads to the area by dirt and rock walls 200m to the east of the separation and segregation wall.
  4. The area of Khalit Mharib- Khalit Abu Dakka : the bulldozers shut down  the road that leads to the area by dirt and rock 150m to the east of the separation and segregation wall.

Having those closures forced, residents were totally unable to reach their lands, which became entrapped between the segregation wall from the west and the dirt walls from the north.

The municipality of Idna asserted that the area was fully provided with water and electricity services and is regarded as one of the distinguished agricultural areas in the town.

While shutting down the roads, the troops of the occupation broke into an agricultural room located next to a barrack owned by Hassan Farajaalh and vandalized its interior
