It is worth mentioning that “price tag” groups have been carrying out attacks on Palestinian rural gatherings for three years. They are noticeably active in the north parts of the West Bank. Most of the attacks occur with the protection and support of the Israeli army.
The southern countryside of Nablus, including Burin, has witnessed many attacks by price taggers for three years. The losses of farmers are grave since the attacks mainly focus on cutting down and burning olive trees.
