On 20/07/2013, a group of colonists raided land near "Meghron" outpost in Mikhmas where colonists set 78 olive trees on fire. The harmed trees are estimated to be 24 years old. Colonists used fiery material in damaging the trees totally. The targeted land is only 1km away from the mentioned outpost and considered unreachable for Palestinians due to its closeness to the outpost. The damaged trees belong to: Omran Abu Ali (45 trees) and Asmahan Abu Ali (33 trees).
 

 

 

 
Throughout the past two years, the colonists activated their attacks on Palestinians’ properties and olive trees. Although the outpost is unlicensed and illegal, it still enjoys all the facilities provided by the occupation to proceed their attacks which were more than 08 in the past two years.
 
It is noteworthy that "Meghron" is located on Palestinian land, specifically on land of Barqa and Mikhmas villages, northeast Ramallah. Colonists carried out many crimes including setting fire to mosques, cars and olive trees in an operation called price tag. Mikhmas is one of the villages of Ramallah governorate and is located north east to Jerusalem. Its population tolls to 1340 according to 2007 census. It includes families of Kan’aan, Abu-Siam, Al-Hajj, Abu-Awada, Hussein and Mohanna.
