Perpetrators: the Israeli Occupation Civil Administration.

On May 8, 2013, the Israeli Occupation Authorities issued 9 stop-work orders for 9 residences in Yatta. Odeh Najada, Head of the local council, said that officers of the Israeli Occupation Civil Administration appeared in the targeted areas, placed the orders on the threatened residences and took pictures of them before leaving. The orders demanded immediate stoppage of construction on the pretext of unlicensed construction in area classified ‘C’ according to Oslo.
 

  

  

  

  

  

  

 
A hearing session is to be held in Beit El Military Court on May 26, 2013 to decide on "demolition or returning to the status quo". The victims requested assistance from the Society of Saint Yves to help them in preparing a legal file. The threatened residences are simple ones built of bricks and roofed with metal slabs; 5 of them were built through the "rehabilitation of Bedouin Residences in Hebron and Bethlehem" which was implemented by Oxfam UK in 2008. Table 1: threatened structures:
