Violation: uprooting and confiscation  of hundred of olive trees.

Date: April 23, 2013.

Location: Um Nir, near Yatta town – Hebron.

Perpetrators: the Israeli Occupation Army.

 

Details:

 

On April 23, 2013, the Israeli Occupation Army uprooted and confiscated hundreds of trees in Um Nir. Issa al Jboor, one of the victims, said that Israeli troops, officers of the Israeli Occupation Civil Administration, two dozers, a truck and some workers broke into the villages before embarking on the uprooting and confiscation of the trees. The uprooted trees age vary from 1 to 4 years old.

 

The locals planted the trees in an attempt to protect the lands which are threatened of confiscation. The owners said that they have not received any prior warnings.
