Details:

On April 24, 2013, Israeli colonists broke into the eastern side of Beit Dajan village before uprooting 112 olive seedlings. The seedlings were planted 3 years ago in a 10-dunum-field, property of Jamal abu Kanaan. The colonists did not only uproot the seedlings but they had also taken them inside the colony. Israeli soldiers who were patrolling the area secured the colonists exit. The Israelis realized the importance of olive trees to the Palestinians which is believed to be the reason for the numerous attacks against the blessed trees.

Colonists commit daily crimes against the trees; they gain strength of the Israeli Occupation Army which provide them with protection and support. Hundreds of Palestinian families lost their main source of income due to tens of attacks that are committed against these trees; these attacks included cutting, uprooting, burning trees. All has been done to serve colonial expansion in the West Bank.
