Violation: demolition of a cistern and a shed.

Date: April 9, 2013.

Location: Huwwara, to the east of Yatta – Hebron.

Perpetrators: the Israeli Occupation Army.

Victim: Issa al Jabareen.

 

Details:

 

On April 9, 2013, the Israeli Occupation Army demolished a cistern and a shed, property of Issa al Jabareen of Yatta. Fareed Hamamda, an eyewitness, said that 4 Israeli vehicles and a jackhammer set siege around the area before embarking on demolition. The owner said that he has not received any orders. The cistern was used to collect rainwater for irrigation; it supplied 10 dunums of olive fields with water while the shed was used as a store. He pointed that the Israeli troops uprooted a grape tree and an olive tree in the process. See Table 1 for more detailes about the demolished structures:
