On January 14, 2013, an Israeli dozer demolished a shack, property of Zyad Makhamra, in the area known as Shi’b al Maghara to the east of Yatta. The owner said that he received no prior warning or military orders before demolition. He stated that Israeli troops and a dozer demolished the room which he used for agricultural purposes. The shack is 40 m2 in area and was built in 2002.
