Violation: setting a Palestinian car ablaze.

On December 3, 2012, Israeli colonists set a car, property of Mahmoud Arjan, ablaze after breaking into abu al Asja village. They also wrote offensive statements on his residence walls. The owner said: ‘my wife awakened me at 2 in the morning saying that the car is on fire; the neighbors rushed to help and I called the Civil Defense which came to help in putting down the fire. We also saw the words ‘congratulations… what is coming is bigger’ written in Hebrew on the house walls. The flames consumed the car completely. I called the Palestinian Police and the DCO. An Israeli Police patrol showed up later and promised to investigate the matter‘.

The owner said that the targeted car is a 1987 Peugeot and accused the colonists of the attack; he also mentioned a similar attack which took place in October.
