Location: Al-Dairat, Al-Jawaya east of Yatta Hebron district.

Perpetrator: Israeli Occupation Forces and Israeli Civil Administration.

Victims: The citizens Muhammad Abu ‘Aram and Mahmood Al-Nawaj’a.

On November 6, 2012, the Israeli Occupation Authorities demolished two houses and a cistern east of Yatta in Hebron District. Mr. Muhammad Al’Adra, President of Al-Dairat Local Council, said that a force of the Occupation Army and the Israeli Civil Administration accompanied by two bulldozers had demolished Mohammad Moussa Muhammad Abu ‘Aram’s house in Al-Dairat village, he added that the house consisted of two floors where Abu ‘Aram lives with his family (13 members, 9 of which are children) and his elder son finished working on the second floor. The area of the house is 500m2:250m2for each floor; it was built last year and coasted 200,000 shekels.

Mr. Al’Adra mentioned that the occupation authorities demolished the house without warning the owner or giving him demolishing orders; the owner was shocked to see the occupation bulldozers in the morning telling him that he has to evacuate the house because it is going to be demolished, so the citizens started evacuating their belongings and removing the wooden doors then the bulldozers demolished it.

As for Khirbet Al-Jawaya, the occupation authorities demolished there a room of 60m2owned by the citizen Mahmood Muhammad Al-Nawaj’a where he has lived with his family (10 members) for two years, they also demolished a cistern of 150m3 owned by the same citizen who had not received any demolishing orders.
