Al Ka’abna:

Al Ka’abna come originally from Ber Shiva area; they were deported from their lands in 1948 as part of the Israeli ethnic cleansing policy. They moved to areas in southern Hebron. Some of them moved further north to the Jordan Valley area seeking water and fertile lands.

Al Ka’abna dwelling, one of the largest in the Jordan Valley area, has been targeted numerous times; huge areas were turned into closed military zones, inaccessible by the Palestinians only. Al Ka’abna dwelling near Bardala is inhabited by 6 families (49 people including 24 children).
