Israeli Colonists Torch a Car in Al Baq’a east of Hebron city
A group of Kiryat Arba colonists torched a Palestinian car in Al Baq’a in Hebron. The car is a 1979 Peugeot 504 that belonged to Abdel Jawad Jaber. The father of the owner stated: ‘we were awakened at 1:00 am on January 9, 2012 on the sound of falling rocks. We rushed out to inspect the matter when we saw the car on fire. We tried to put the fire down but the rain of rocks prevented us from going out. The colonists made sure that the flames consumed the car before fleeing the scene.

The Israeli Occupation Police showed up in the next day to inspect the scene and they told us to head to the nearest Police station to file a complaint. He pointed that this aggression is part of the ongoing aggressions in Al Baq’a which are intended to force the Palestinians out of the area in order to facilitate capturing it.
