Violation: Israeli Military orders threatens Al Himma site where more than 50 structures were warned.
Location: Al Himma – Wadi al Maleh, Tubas.

Perpetrators: the Israeli Occupation Civil Administration, the Inspection Subcommittee.
Victims: 13 families (45 people and 33 children).
Details:
A new wave of Israeli aggressions targeted residents of the Jordan Valley area. This time, the Palestinians were deprived from one of their basic and most important rights, the right to adequate housing. Since 1967, the Israeli Governments have been attempting to takeover the Jordan Valley area and uproot the Palestinian residents; the Israelis consider the area as the state of Israel eastern borders.
On December 19, 2011, the Israeli Inspection Subcommittee issued 17 orders for tents in Al Himma area in the Jordan Valley. The orders gave the residents 20 days to dismantle their tents and leave the area which they inhabited for more than 25 years. The Israelis consider the area a closed ‘military zone’. Several orders were issued previously, if all these orders were implemented it will mean the end of the residential gathering incubating more than 120 Palestinians. However, Palestinians are determined to remain in their lands.
