Description:
The Israeli Occupation forces installed military gates on the entrances of Sa’ir and Halhul , in order to impose additional closures and prohibit citizens movement at these areas.
In May 16th 2021, the occupation forces sat up military gates on 3 locations between Sa’ir and Halhul , at the following location:
- On the western entrance of Sa’ir town that connects Hebron – Jerusalem (the so called bypass 60), a metal gate along with cement blocks were installed.

- A military gate was installed on Halhul entrance (An-Nabi Younis Junction) , which also leads to Hebron – Jerusalem road (bypass 60), the gate is composed of two parts, each one closes a side of the road.

- Another military gate was installed on Aj-Jumjumja mountain northeast Halhul, the gate closed off an agricultural road used by farmers to get to their lands.

Noteworthy, The Occupation sat up a military watch point in Aj-Jumjuma, at a private Palestinian farmland in an agricultural area.

Through installing the gates, the occupation forces are restricting citizens movement between cities, the forces control the gates.

Noteworthy, The Israeli Occupation is continuously imposing intensive movement restrictions on Palestinians, The Israeli Occupation is isolating the West Bank from the Occupied Territories of 1948, and Gaza is still under blockade after fourteen years in a raw , noting that the blockade is a grave breach of international conventions and agreements , as it affects more than 1,899,291 people.
The Occupation practice worst sorts of collective punishments against Palestinians, after dividing the West Bank to four cantons, and laying about 325 road blocks in Hebron alone by the end of 2020 , including cement road blocks, permanent blocks , earth mounds , metal gates , and gates on the Annexation and Expansion Wall , among those 114 roadblocks are in the old city of Hebron alone.

- Article 3 of the Universal Declaration provides that “everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.”
- Article 5: No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
- Article 9 that “no one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile”

- Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each State.
- Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country.
