Description:
In the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 26th 2021, the Israeli Occupation carried on ravaging vast areas of postures in At-Teen Ash-Shami area west Yasuf village, in order to expand Kfar Tapuah colony and develop its infrastructure.
Reportedly, by the day of this report the occupation had leveled 13, the occupation also brought number of machineries to ravage vast areas of lands. Noteworthy, The targeted lands belong to At-Tayani family from Yasuf Village.
Human Rights Activist in Yasuf village Ahmed ‘Ubaid told LRC:
“Most of the western lands of Yasuf are threatened in the expansion of Kfar Tapuah colony. Israeli colonists cultivated a large part of it with the intention to impose realities on the ground and change the area’s identity.”

For 13 years, the Israeli Occupation have been closing off more than 400 dunums west Yasuf village, through allowing colonists to open roads, cultivating part of the land, and setting up tents.
Kfar Tapuah was established on lands of Yasuf village. The colony overlooks Za’tara intersection that separates the northern part of the West Bank from its southern one. The inhabitants of this colony are fanatic Jews who follow Maer Kahana that was killed in the USA. Kahana called upon expelling Arab Palestinians out of Palestine.
Kfar Tapuah totals 233 dunums and includes a camp for the military. It was established in 1982. Since the Intifada of 2000, the Occupation established two outposts: Rehalim B south Yasuf , Tapuah outpost east the village , the outposts together confiscated a total of 100 dunums.

It is 16km south of Nablus. Yasuf is surrounded by Huwara and Jamma’in (north), Marda (west), Yatma (east), and Iskaka (south). Yasuf is inhabited by 2090 people (according to 2013 projections). It has a total area of 6037 dunums, 330 of which are built-up area of the village. The Israeli occupation confiscated 814 dunums for these two colonies: Kfar Tapuah colony which was built on Yasuf lands in 1978. The colony is inhabited by 523 colonists and Rachelim- Shvut that was built in 1991 and devoured 10 dunums. Besides, the bypass road number 508 confiscated more than 155 dunums of the village lands.
According to Oslo Accords, only 1427 dunums of Yasuf lands are under Area B (PA is in charge of civil matters with Israel responsible for security) while most of Yasuf is under Area C (Israel maintains full security and administrative control). About of 4609 dunums of Yasuf is in area C.
