One of the victims, Haitham Qatousa told LRC reporter:
“The attack was expected , the radical settlers always take advantage of the night’s quietness in order to carry out attacks . There are videos that document the attacks, we filed a complaint to the Israeli police supported by the videos, but nothing was done to stop such attacks from occurring.”
Settlers’ break-ins and arson attacks on Palestinians in the suburb areas are meant to terror and harass Palestinian citizens to push them out of their areas. In spite of all the complaints charged through Palestinian cooperation to the Israeli government, the last party did not do anything to stop these assaults.
