The Israeli occupation authorities imposed an educational curriculum on Jerusalem schools.
The curriculum is that applicable in the Palestinian communities’ schools in the occupied territories of 1948.
The content of the Israeli curriculum:
The Israeli curriculum changes historical concepts, it explains the geography and history of “Israel” and refer to Jerusalem as “Orsalim” and claim that it is the capital of “Israel” and lies on the mountains of “Judea”, the curriculum refers to the Palestinian endogenous people as minorities living in “Israel”.
These Israeli policies aim to suppress the Palestinian identity in Jerusalem, and Judaize the holy city. Nevertheless, Israeli authorities close Palestinian cultural institution, halt their events and arrest the organizers or participants of such events. On the other hand, the Israeli municipality in Jerusalem establishes public services centers like school that adopt the Zionist culture and impose it on The Palestinian indigenous people.
