- Violation: closing the entrance of a village
- Location: South Nablus governorate
- Date: May 10, 2017
- Perpetrators: Israeli Occupation Forces
- Victims: residents of Osarin
Details:
On Wednesday, May 10, 2017, Israeli Occupation Forces sealed off the southern entrance of Osarin village via earth mounds on the claim of "security purposes". It should be noted that the closed entrance links the village to the bypass road number 505 and to the surrounding Palestinian cities and villages. By closing the road, residents of the village will be forced to take a substitute road through the nearby Aqraba village to reach their daily destinations. It is reported that Osarin entrance is one of the roads and entrances that were closed in the aftermath of the second intifada in 2000 and was kept closed until 2012.
