Location: Turmus'ayya town- Ramallah governorate
Date: 26/03/2014
Perpetrators: Colonists of "Adi Ad"
Victims: 6 families
Details:
For the fourth consecutive time since the beginning of 2014, colonists of Adi Ad have carried out an attack on farmlands in As Sider, northeast of Turmus'ayya town and only 1km away from the colony.
At early hours of Wednesday, on March 26, 2014, a group of extremists sneaked into As Sider where they embarked on destroying and uprooting 1400 olive saplings, whose age is estimated to be 2 years. It is worth mentioning that colonists were not content with uprooting the olive seedlings only so they also stole and transported them into the colony.

Mayor of Turmus'ayya, Mr. Ribhi Zaghlol, asserted to an LRC observer that:"Since the beginning of 2014, Turmus'ayya has witnessed four attacks by colonists who primarily target olive trees. No less than 3500 olive saplings, only 2 years old, have been uprooted and stolen so far."
Zaghlol added, "We filed several complaints to the Israeli Coordination Office and the Israeli police but to no avail, though we have evidence that the perpetrators are the colonists. This is a proof that there is complicity between the Israeli army and police from one side and colonists from another. Their roles are interchangeable as well."
