Violation: Threatening 12 structures
Date: 07/10/2013
Location: Khirbet Al Mintar- Bardala village -Tubas governorate
Perpetrators: The so-called Planning and Construction Committee of the Israeli occupation
Victims: 6 Bedouin families, 34 people including 14 children
Details:
Al-Mintar, at the heart of the Jordan Valley, has witnessed a new wave of attacks. On 07/10/2013 and after two years of the demolition operation of animal barns, the so-called Planning and Construction Committee sent three Bedouin families orders to stop building in their agricultural structures under the pretext of unlicensed construction in an area classified C according to Oslo.
The Israeli occupation army gave the owners of the targeted structures a respite until 11/10/2013 as a final date for completing the procedures of getting a license. The date comes in synchronization with the meeting of the committee in Beit El colony to discuss the status of the threatened structures.
The Israeli occupation also gave four other Bedouin families a respite of 3 days to protest against the demolition order for their agricultural structures issued on 10/08/2013. It is worth mentioning that the agricultural structures were rebuilt by donations of international institutions after being demolished 2 years ago. The table gives information about the targeted structures:

Rabay’a family depend on sheep grazing and lead a very simple life but the Israeli occupation would not leave them alone. The occupation considers Rabay’a -as any other Bedouin gathering- a target and something that should be removed for the sake of expansion schemes .
