At the early hours of Tuesday September 10th 2013, the village of al-Jiftlik witnessed a new wave of aggressive targeting that reached out most of the village residents. Villagers woke up on voices of tens of military jeeps and a bulldozer surrounding the community. Soldiers forced the residents to evict their homes to stay in the cold while the bulldozer demolished three barracks( built by wood and cloth sheds) under the pretext of unlicensed construction within area classified C according to Oslo Accords.

It should be marked that the latest demolition is the second of a type within a period of a month where a tent and a barn were leveled to the ground.

It is indicated that Arab al-Ka'abna have roots originally in the area of Bier al-Saba', south of historical Palestine. Residents were displaced many times due to the catastrophe of 1948 where they resided in areas of West Bank and Jordan.

Since 1967 and until now, the community of Arab al-Ka'abna has been going through a series of displacement and expel. Tents, barns, and even whole communities were not left safe from the targeting policy.  Due to the continuous operations of displacement and expel, the number of citizens in the community decreased to become 280people distributed on 20 tents (made of wood, plastic, and cloth) where they live a primitive life lacking all living standards.
