Description:
Monday morning August 29th 2022, the Occupation Forces carried on ravaging a plot and uprooting olive trees in Wasi Sa’ir , east Sa’ir town in Hebron Governorate. The targeted trees belong to Citizen Isma’il Ash-Shalalda , and located close to the military watch point since 2016.
Murad Ash-Shalalda – One of the land owners – Said that the occupation forces brought an excavator, and posted numbering stickers on the olive trees that will be uprooted, The Forces later uprooted 11 olive trees thye first time, then came back at the location , and uprooted 10 olive trees and some grape trees.
Noteworthy, In August 8th 2022, the occupation forces issued a military order number (t/9/22) entitled “Confiscation Order” , attached by a map that shows the location of the confiscated plot under security claims , starting from the signing date until 2025.

The Occupation’s aim is to implement the plan published last year in 2021 , which will expand the street nearby the military watch tower to impose intensive military control over the area, for more information read the following LRC Report:

locals are worried from the occupation’s plan to establish a crossing point at the location, Noting that the occupation military is currently conducting several plans at the area.

This military plans comes just in time with Expanding bypass 60 , will Palestinians be allowed to use it ? or are they opening a new road that passes through Wadi Sa’ir for Palestinians which is why they are planting military points every few meters.
Noteworthy , Israeli troops in the military points will check bodies and cars that pass through this roads towards the bypass roads , under the usual pretext “Security claims”.
