Description:
Recently, The Israeli Occupation Authorities escalated their attacks against citizens and their facilities in Birin south Bein Naim, in order to impose restrictions on its people, to facilitate taking over it for colonial schemes.
The Occupation authorities issued halt of work and demolition notices on several houses and facilities. The occupation forces showed up again in June 8th and dismantled then confiscated several barns and agricultural facilities.
About 8:00 am, a massive army force accompanied by representatives from the building and organization department in the civil administration raided the area and confiscated number of agricultural facilities.
- Citizen Mohammed ‘Azazma: The occupation forces dismantles and confiscated a barn (a tent built on metal columns), the barn used to contain 100 cattle head, and has a total area of 100 m2, built 40 years ago.
- Citizen Musa ‘Azazma: The occupation forces dismantled a barn , that used to contain 37 cattle heads , and has a total area of 60 m2.
- Citizen Sa’ud Al-Faqeer: The Occupation forces dismantled and confiscated an agricultural tent , and metal columns , with a total area of 90 m2, used to contain 45 cattle heads.
- Citizen Sa’id Al-Faqeer: The Occupation authorities dismantled and confiscated a barn with a total area of 90 m2, and contain 70 cattle heads , the occupation confiscated the components of the tent (plastic sheets , metal corners and barbed wires).
- Sabeya Al-Azazma: The Occupation authorities dismantled and confiscated a barn that belongs to Sabeya and her sister Aliya, the targeted facility has a total area of 40 m2 , and contains 40 cattle heads.
The herds that used to be inside the targeted facilities are now in the summer heat , in an area characterized by high daytime temperature.

The Occupation authorities put a confiscation notice in place of the targeted facilities , the notice says: The confiscated properties will be kept in Kfar Etzion settlement, and in case the owner didn’t pay a fine to get them back, the occupation authorities will sell them.
In case owners of the confiscated properties refused to pay a high fine and get their properties back, the occupation authorities will sell the goods in an auction .

Birin hamlet:[1]
It is located to the southwest of Bani Na’im village and is inhabited by 300 people. The hamlet is edged by Bani Haiver colony from the east and the bypass road no. 60 from the west. Residents of the area were expelled from Negev area and now depend on agriculture and livestock husbandry as main sources of income. The hamlet accommodates one only primary school (1st- 7th grades). Birin (two water wells) was named after two water wells founded in the area.
