Under the pretext of military training, "Expel and displacement" affects the Bedouin communities in the northern Ghoor

It should be marked that the military training undergoing since 2012 in the area of the Palestinian Jordan Valley (ghoor) has been a means to strike the Palestinian presence in the area and a destabilizing factor in al-ghoor in terms of natural and agricultural diversity. This resulted by the frequent acts of vandalism and trees uprooting carried out in the area.

Natural resources of al-ghoor have been a target for confiscation and damage under the pretext of the location being a training zone. The natural local products got monopolized by the occupation as a result.

As for the human factor, a big number of citizens became injured or handicapped due to the leftovers since the military trainings took place nearby the residents' houses and on their lands. Noteworthy, children became traumatized as a result.

A new phase of trainings on the lands of al-ghoor:

On October 7th and 8th 2014 , the Israeli occupation served eviction orders on residences owned by 18 Bedouin families (113 member) under the pretext carrying out Israeli military trainings in the area.

According to LRC field follow-up on these area, the aforementioned families and their members will become homeless as a result of the that order.

It should be marked that the area of al-ghoor witnessed since two years several operations of military training. Most of the Bedouin communities in the area were affected directly as a result.

An observer can figure out that the occupation has been holding its trainings during specific times such like( the sheep reproduction season and winter and summer crops season) to guarantee best losses for the Palestinian farmer. Clearly, this contradicts all the international conventions that stated the prohibition of using peoples' residences or terrorizing them at wartime .
