Violation: destroying structures made of metal slabs
Location: the villages of al-Jiftlik and Fasayil al-Fuka
Date: 20/10/2014
Perpetrators: the army of the Israeli occupation
Victims: 6 Palestinian families
Details:
The village of al-Jiftlik , north of Jericho governorate witnessed on October 20th 2014, a new attack within a series of systematic plan to displace the people of the Palestinian Jordan Valley (al-ghoor) to impose control and sovereignty on the area.
In the early hours of the aforementioned date, a massive force of the occupation accompanied by the Civil Administration embarked on demolishing two residences and four barns and agricultural rooms. The occupation justified this act under the pretext of unlicensed construction within area classified C according to Oslo Accords.
It is indicated in the same context that forces of the occupation raided the village of Fasayil al-Fuka and destroyed a agricultural barrack for animals husbandry owned by citizen Hussein Rashayda. The pretext came as usual which is "unlicensed construction".
