The owners of the threatened structures said that the Israelis claim that the structures were built prior to acquiring proper permits for construction in area classified ‘C’ according to Oslo. They said that they plan for applying for permits despite being almost sure that they will not be granted ones. They also expressed their fear over an Israeli plan to build colonial units on the edges of a road connecting Negohot and Givat Habustan with the checkpoint leading to areas occupied in 1948.

They also said that the Israeli Occupation Authorities had put marks on the edges of the road.
