The Occupation Demolished Farmers lands and confiscated them in Al-Hardash in Tarqumiya / west Hebron

Description:

Tuesday, in July 26th 2022, the Israeli occupation authorities carried out a demolition operation that targeted pergolas, residential and agricultural facilities in “Al-Hardash” village nearby At-Tayba in Tarqumiya , west Hebron.

An army force accompanied by border guards , officers from the building and organization department at the civil administration , and Israeli workers raided the area and carried out the demolition.

The Occupation authorities demolished the pergolas by hand and using electric tools, after they threw everything inside them. Noting that the operation was carried out without serving notices, and without giving any chances for objections.

 The targeted structures are built of wood and plastic sheets, and used as a resting place and provides protection from the sun to farmers.

Noteworthy, the occupation authorities carried out a similar demolition operation in June 27th 2022 , where they raided the area and demolished farmers’ pergolas.

The occupation authorities claim that framers built these structures and facilities on state lands , while farmers confirm they own the land which is proved with ownership papers.

The Israeli occupation wants to confiscate these lands , as their location is between Telem and Adora colonies, and are seen as a potential for future expansion.
