Description:
Thursday, December 2nd 2021, the Israeli Occupation Authorities demolished residential and agricultural structures , on the pretext of building without a license in Al-Markiz village – Masafer Yatta south Hebron.
About 9:00 am, a massive army force, two bulldoazers and officers from the building and organization department in the civil administration raided the area. The troops encircled the location, emptied the buildings, and carried out the demolition.
One of the victims, Mahmoud An- Najjar said that the occupation authorities demolished his agricultural facilities, in addition to other facilities belong to his father, brother, and his widowed grandmother, and left their families and sheep in the open air.

In 2012, the occupation authorities issued halt of work orders for the structures and facilities, that was later followed by demolition notices for all of the targeted structures. Despite that the owners filed objections , but the occupation authorities insisted on demolishing the structures on the pretext of installing them in an area declared as a fire zone.
The Occupation authorities target 15 villages and communities in Masafer Yatta , and is imposing restrictions to drive citizens out of the area, after they declared it fire zone 918 and turned it into a battle ground.
