Description:

Thursday, September 16th 2021, the Israeli Occupation forces carried on ravaging and leveling a 2 dunums plot nearby the Annexation and Expansion Wall in ‘Attil lands.

The Targeted land belongs to farmer Mohammed Hassan from the town , who supports a family of 5 (2 children, 1 female).

Affected Farmer told LRC the following:

“I inherited a plot with a total area of 7 dunums from my father, when the  Annexation and Expansion Wall was constructed on ‘Attil’s lands in 2002, A Segment of the Annexation and Expansion Wall devoured a dunum and isolated other four dunums, only two dunums remained that I cultivated regularly with field crops and vegetables to provide a living for the family. However many years later, in 2021, the occupation authorities opened a hole in the wall next to my land, which made it heavily exposed to raids and assaults.

He asserted: “Thursday, About 4:00 am, the Israeli Occupation bulldozers carried on ravaging my land, and when I arrived at the location, one of the occupation’s troops told me that locals have been using my land to pass through the wall to the occupied territories of 1948, and that if I do not stop them, they will close off the whole area.”

During the past years, the occupation forces destroyed vast areas of lands nearby the Annexation and Expansion Wall, under security claims. However, Tulkarm city was highly affected by such violations as a result of its location close to the green line.
