The Israeli Occupation Demolishes Agricultural facilities in Halhul / North Hebron

Description:

Thursday, the occupation authorities demolished an agricultural room and a water harvesting cistern belong to Ashraf Al-Hammori in Al-Jumjuma area north east Halhul , on the pretext of building without licenses.

Al Hammori told LRC :

“A massive army force, border guards, a bulldozer (caterpillar) , and an Excavator (Hyundai) raided the area and destroyed the plot’s front gate to carry out the demolition.”

Reportedly, the occupation’s machineries leveled a room built of bricks and concrete since 2016, the targeted room has a total area of 30 m2 , and was used as a store.

 The operation also targeted a cistern with a storage capacity of 100 m3, used for drinking and irrigating plants in a 5 dunums plot contains at least 200 trees.

Noteworthy, in November 5th 2018, the occupation authorities issues a halt of work notice on the facilities on the pretext of building without licenses, the owner then prepared a legal file to submit a petition, but in March 24th 2019 the Occupation Authorities issued a final halt of work and demolition order, and gave the owner (7 days) then carried out the demolition.
