Description:
Thursday, August 6th 2020, a group of colonists with a bulldozer started leveling a colonial road with Base course, West Arab Al-Khawali community east Kaft Tulth.
The targeted lands are 17.5 dunums that belong to 30 farmers from (Khouli , Odeh , Mara’abeh , Al-‘Alim , Misleh) families.

The road opened for Arab Al-Khawali community
The targeted lands for natural blocks:
- Kafr Thulth: Natural Block (22) known of Khirbet Samra , Natural Block (50) Wad Al-Hamam , Natural Block (51) Al-‘Oyoun , Natural Block (17), and Natural Block (25).
- Bidya: Natural Block (17) As-Samakat, Natural block (25) Ash-Sharoukh location.
Meqbel Odeh (67) told LRC the following:
“The area lies under a great threat, Few years ago, colonists established an outpost in Al-‘Oyoun area named “Al-Mattan” , the outpost is located east Kafr Thulth, and was linked with a paved road to the illegal colony “Karnei Shamron”, now colonists are trying to take over vast areas of lands i Kafr Thulth and Bedya , the targeted area is known for its beautiful nature, the new road is only 50 m away from ‘Arab Al-Khawali community , which imposes a displacement threat on 150 people.”
Kafr Thuth municipality head Mr. Husni ‘Odeh told LRC the following:
“There is an Israeli Scheme to take over vast areas of Lands in Al-‘Oyoun and Khallet Hassan areas , the area is unfortunately surrounded by many colonies : Karnei Shamron , Netafim, Ma’ale Shamron , in addition to several random outpost .”
‘Arab Al-Khawali – an Overview:[1]
‘Arab Al-Khawali community has a population of 150 people (about 17 families) living in Al’Oyoun area south Kafr Thulth town, On lands threatened of confiscation as a result of its location nearby “Karnei Shamron” , people of the community live a basic life in houses of mud and iron sheets under daily Israeli violations. ‘Arab Al-Khawali immigrated from their homeland Kafr Qare’a in 1948 , and resided Tafr Thulth.
