Serving Halt of work order on a house in As-Semya/ Hebron governorate

Description:

In January 13th , The Israeli occupation authorities served stop work order on a house belongs to Mustafa Abu Aqil (53) in As-Semya , west As-Samou’, as the owner asserted.

According to military orders (206870), the occupation authorities order the immediate stoppage of construction, and set February 3rd-2019 as the subcommittee session in “Beit El” court to decide the fate of the structure.

Reportedly, the house is under construction and still in the “base” phase , the property was supposed to have an area of (140 m2) , and to be a home for a family of 10 , 6 children.

The family lives now in a small rented department, and they were planning to move to the new house and finally have a stable life.

Abu Aqil prepared the legal file to follow up the licensing procedures in the Israeli court, but as he said, the occupation’s court will come up with excuses to refuse the licensing application, and eventually destroy his property.

In March 11th , a vehicle from the civil administration went back to the location, and threatened to confiscate the building materials in case he resumed the construction process.

Semya hamlet is located to the west of As-Samou’ village, and is bordered by bypass 60 (east), and “Otniel” illegal settlement (north). Noteworthy, the occupation authorities confiscated the steel sheets that are parts of A-Semya school, at the beginning of this Year.
