Description:

The Israeli occupation authorities forced Fareed Al-Jbour to dump a cistern he was establishing in his land.

Al-Jbour started digging a water cistern in his land in September 2018, the Israeli occupation authorities raided the location, confiscated the excavator, and served a halt of work order on the pretext of working in area C before getting proper licenses from the occupation.

In 29th January, the occupation troops came back, and served the owner another military order and gave him 7 days to demolish the structures, in case he breached the deadline, the occupation will demolish the property and file the expenses on the owner.

To avoid the occupation’s high fines, Al-Jbour dumped his cistern. Noteworthy, Al-Jbour was going to use the cistern for agricultural purposes.

Al-Jbour’s intention was to establish a cistern in his t land, to use it for irrigation; The targeted farmer owns tens of dunums in Umm Near.
