Israeli military order targeting At-Tahadi (15) school in Dhaher Al-Malih/ Jenin

Description:

The Israeli occupation troops and civil administration raided Dhaher Al-Malih area , and served a demolition military order to the responsible on At-Tahadi (15) school.

The school is under construction, and the responsible was given  a final chance to object on the Israeli Supreme court resolution, The Israeli authorities claim that the school was built before getting proper licenses in area classified “C” according to Oslo convention.

Omar Al-Khattib, head of the village council told LRC reporter:

“ At-Tahadi school consists of 8 classroom ,each one has an area of 12 m2 , and will have the capacity for 52 students from the village and surrounding Bedouin communities.”

At-Tahadi schools are built in marginalized areas and threatened communities to support Palestinians’ steadfastness.

Noteworthy, the occupation served military orders to number of families in Dhaher Al-Malih, and confiscated 110 dunums of the town’s lands claiming that they are state’s properties.

17 km north- west Jenin, Dhaher Al-Malih is surrounded by “’Anin “ town (north-west) and “Shaked”,”Hinnanit”and “Tel Manshiyya” Israeli illegal settlements (north-east) , Tura Al-Gharbiya and Tura Ash-Sharqiyeh (south).

 Dhaher Al-Malih has a population of (195) people according to 2017 census, and a total area of 233 dunums, of which 32 dunums are the town’s built up area.

The Israeli occupation devoured 18 dunums for military camps.
