Israeli Occupation Authorities Issue Stop Work Orders against Palestinian Houses owned by Abou Tbaikh family in the Village of Em al Amad in Yatta under the pretext of non-licensed construction.
The 38-year-old man affected by this decision reported that one vehicle belongs to the so-called Organization Department of the occupation authority came to his place of residence. A building inspector stepped out of the car, took note of the coordinates of the buildings, wrote the stop-work notices, put them on the buildings and took pictures of them before leaving the site.
The Israeli occupation authorities demanded the immediate cease of constructionoperations under the pretext of “A non-licensed construction “since this falls within a C-classified area according to the Oslo Agreement.
The Israeli authorities also announced that a meeting of the so-called “subcommittee of the inspection of the Higher Planning Council in the occupation authorities” will take place in the 6th of August 2018 .They further explained that they will discuss “demolition of the buildings or the return of the place to its former state” in this meeting, which will be held at its headquarters in the “Beit El”.
The affected citizen had started building houses for his family of 11, including 3 children in 2017 when he returned home after spending 20 years abroad,where he plans to establish 3 houses since he is married to 3 women.
The notices of stop-workaffected the following buildings:
1_ aninhabited house built of reinforced concrete, one floor, an area of (120 m 2).

4_ A duplex cottage: a duplex cottage of two floors and an overall area of (160 m2), the first floor is used to raise poultry, while the second floor is used as a place for rest and receiving guests.

It is worth pointing out that the village of Umm al-Amad is located to the west of the town of Yatta. The nearest population to this area is the village of Beit Umra. The population of Umm al-Amad is about 500 people. The village can be viewed from the settlement of Etaniel.
