Israeli Occupation Authorities notified on July 15, 2018 two residences of stop-work in the Hebron village of Beit Ummar.
Abu Mariya wife asserted that a vehicle relative to Israel Civil Administration accompanied by an army patrol raided the areas of Wadi Al-Sheikh handed in the military order. The Patrol took photos of the place before they had left, witnesses said. The order number (266819) said that the structures were built before acquiring proper permits and that a hearing session will be held in Beit El Military Court on August 9, 2018 to decide on whether to demolish the structure or return to previous status. The threatened house is reported to consist of 2 floors with a total area of 250m2, and inhabited by a family of 6 members , 2 of them are children.

According to LRC reports, The Israeli occupation delivered 8 stop-work orders on residences and facilities to villagers in Beit Ummar since the beginning of this year 2018, using their known pretext “Building without permission”, when owners prepare the necessary documents to prove they own the land. The Israeli occupation refuses to grant permission. Now their purpose became clear to Palestinians which is to clear out the land for their colonial plans.

About Beit Ummar:
It is located 12 km to Hebron city. The village’s total area is 21,285 dunums, of which 1,375 dunums are considered the built-up area; around 16, 977 people inhabit Beit Ummar according to 2017 census.
The Israeli occupation authorities confiscated 560 dunums from Beit Ummar for the favor of the bypass road no.60. The occupation also confiscated 1,216 dunums for the favor of the following colonies:
