The occupation force justified the attack on the claim that the targeted lands are classified as "State lands". The force mentioned that the occupation government served on September 14, 2016 an eviction order on the lands. At time, the order gave a 30 day deadline. The affected people rushed to prepare the legal files needed for objection in Israeli courts but for no avail.
It should be noted that the area of Khallet AL-Ayadeh is located in the southeastern part of Hebron city. It overlooks Kiryat Arbaa colony that is founded on confiscated lands from Hebron city.
