The Israeli occupation authorities on June 10, 2015 demolished a residence owned by Citizen Mohammad Abu Qubaitah in the area of Laseifer, east Yatta town. 

Citizen Abu Qubaitah said that a force from the Israeli occupation army accompanied by a staff from the Civil Administration and a dozer arrived to the area and embarked on demolishing his house; Abu Qubaitah was not allowed to get any of the house interior out.

The house is reported to be built in 2004 with an area of 40m2; it is composed of two bedrooms and a bathroom. Noteworthy, the structure is roofed with metal slaps.

It should be marked that the Israeli occupation authorities demolished the house without serving any previous notices andor orders; 20,000 INS was the cost of the house, said Mohammad. The Red Cross association gifted a tent for the affected family as kind of relief.

The house of Abu Qubaitah is reported to be located behind the Israeli colony of Mezadot Yehuda; the citizen and his family can only reach their residence through a crossing in the apartheid wall. Not only that, the owners’ access to the area is limited to specific permits that are issued by the Israeli side.

Mohamamd pointed out that this is the seventh time the Israeli occupation army demolishes his structures.
