Details:

The Israeli occupation authorities on December 24, 2014 demolished a pool for rainwater catchment, which is still under construction  in the eastern part of Jiftlik village in the area known as al-Misfih.

It is indicated that the targeted pool  was being implemented by Palestine Ministry of Agriculture with funds of 65,000 from the FAO .The pool was supposed to be of 1200m3 in volume to serve 8 families, who own around 142 dunums planted with field crops and various trees.

It should be marked that construction on the pool started on May 2014; a stop-work order was served on the pool on June by the Planning and Construction Committee in Israel Civil Administration. After many efforts to obtain a building permit, the Israeli tribunal system rejected all attempts and stressed on demolishing the pool.
